Panicking about budget for flowers!

I'm going to see the first of my shortlisted florists tomorrow (and she's my favourite).
Now I'm worried about my budget! I don't want to go there think I can get whatever I want for the allocated budget and end up being way off the mark!
My budget is - (all artificial flowers)
£75 for Bridal Bouquet
3 x £30 for (tween) Bridesmaid Bouquets
17 x £5 for Buttons Holes
£250 Total
Do you think this is do-able? I know prices vary from the north to the south (I'm in Yorkshire) but does anyone think this is a reasonable budget?
We've been luckly with the rest of the flowers... the church is doing the flowers in the church, our venue is doing flowers for the top table and we're not having flowers for centrepieces.

I think thats totally doable. My quote for fresh flowers also in Yorkshire is:
Bridal bouquet - £70 or £100 depending on size (simple handtied one)
BM bouquets - £40
buttonholes - £6
So a bit of negotiating would get to your figures, plus shouldnt artifical be cheaper?
ETA - just noticed the 17 button holes? Is that a typo? Or if not then who are they for / can it be reduced? (we're getting 6 and i thought that was a lot :-) )0 -
Haha no, not a typo!! Buttonholes are for... groom, bestman, usher, 2 x groomsmen, pageboy, 2 x fathers, 2 x mothers, my 2 sisters, my brother in law, OH's brother & wife and my auntie & uncle.
I suppose there are a few I could knock off, but would rather not! Been smoke free for 4 years!! :beer:0 -
Absolutely doable. My flowers are around the same, in fact I think some of our buttonholes were quoted at £4, I'd be very surprised if you got quoted more than £250.Married my wonderful husband on 8/9/12 :j0

Well, I am really happy after seeing the florist! She listened to my ideas, made some great suggestions and the quote came out at £246. I'd not even told her what my budget was! Would definitely recommend her to anyone in the South/West Yorkshire area.
My only issue now is I can't decide between a shower or hand tied (think thats what it's called, like a posy)! Been smoke free for 4 years!! :beer:0 -
I prefer hand-tied, am not a fan of shower bouquets, but it's all personal taste! What style is your dress and what flowers are you having in your bouquet?7 Feb 2012: 10st7lbs

We went for fresh flowers and they came out at £55 for my bouquet, £35 for bridesmaids, £6 for buttonholes. The bridesmaids are tight white roses with some little blue beads and the buttonholes are again white roses...I was really impressed with the quotes. This is a picture of what my bouquet should (hopefully!) look like.0

Only just seen your reply!
My dress is A-line with a tiny bit of detail, but not a lot.
I'm having fuschia pink gerberas as the main flowers with some white roses. I'm leaning towards hand-tied because they'll be easier to place in a vase after the wedding.
I think I'm going for something similar to this, but without the feathers...
