I have just filed my paperwork for our DMP and we have accounts at lloyds which we are not going to be using anymore and he has an existing account with Santander (no debts).
As I am the one with most of the debts, can anyone suggest a bank account that I wont get refused for. I just need a debit card to pay bills with and direct debit facilities. Ideally one i can appliy online for?
Thanks

Avoid Bank of Scotland and Halifax as they are part of Lloyds Banking Group.0 -
Hi
Ive applied for an account with the co-op. You cant apply online, but you just ring them and they talk you through the application. They have a basic cashminder account which has everything except a chequebook and overdraft.Sealed Pot no 2011

The Co-Op have been super with us, we opened a basic account and a savings account and did it all online. They do have to send you the paperwork to sign and return, or drop into a branch, so it took about a week.LBM 10/1/12 ~ DFW Start 6/2/12: £82,344 ~ Now Zero:staradmin:starmod::staradmin Debt free 17th April 2015 :staradmin:starmod::staradmin
