Hello,
I have burnt to disk before without problems but today when I tried I got the following message:

I have used a brand new disk so I don't think that's the problem. The text after the file that I am trying to burn is: WS.PDTV.XviD-River
I don't know if that has anything to do with it? Thanks

I get the following message when I follow the link

Sorry, don't know what's happened there it was working earlier. The error message is:
sorry your compilation cannot be written on this kind of disc.
please insert a disc of the correct type or modify the settings of your compilation to
make it compatible with the current disc.0 -
It appears you're trying to burn an avi file (WS.PDTV.XviD-River) using Nero so it'll play in your DVD player. If this is the case, I think you may have to convert it to mpeg/compatible format in order to do so.
On the other hand, if you burn it as a data disk (for storage only) you should be fine - it's probably what you were doing when it worked earlier. G0
