Have capped mortgages fallen off the face of the earth?
A quick google shows lots of hits, but when you drill down into the websites it seems nobody is actually offering them, including the comparison sites.
Is that because they are such a great idea?

I guess it depends from which side of the mortgage you are looking.....but a cap may encourage people who don't want to pay the extra for a fix and are prepared to take a bit of a punt on interest rates but with some guarantee they won't go stupidly high0
