Not been around for quite a while folks, how's it going?
House prices going up and down and stuff?
Pimperne moved in with Geener yet?
Hamish and Graham still ripping each other's faces off?
Any changes or same old same old?
I tell you what's strange. I think I last came on here in January and, even though I am still interested in the economy and stuff, I genuinely haven't seen any house price news since then. No idea if they're going up or down. Will have a look on here now.
Hope you're all good anyway.

Much of the same. Though much quieter.
On the whole some well mannered debate now goes on. With a good exchange of views on some subjects.
Though Hamish has changed tack. Rather like watching somebody drowning in quicksand. Just won't accept the envitable.

Good to see you Cleaver!
House prices are falling, obviously!0 -
Greetings Cleaver.
You ain't missed much apart from the fact that the UK economy is now well into a boom cycle both in general and within the housing market.
Meanwhile in the real world the Eurozone is still in the sh*t and it ain't looking promising, the UK has gone back into recession and apart from in London, house prices are going downwards. So pretty much as expected really and not much change since you were last on here.0 -
It's just ok, just about. The same old disappointing arguments from the same old usual suspects who don't seem to be able to back up any of their age old arguments.
You're not missing much btw.0 -

Presume you've been too busy buying silver to post here?0 -
Hello old bean.
House prices are either up or down depending on who you ask. It's much the same with the economy at large.
Is this welcome back or just a flying visit?0 -
Hi Cleaver,
Nothing much has changed. I don't follow house prices so have no idea whether they are up or down. There's been some interesting threads about the economy, both here and abroad.
Oh, and occasionally we get a new consignment of sockies for the sock drawer.
I was also wondering whether you had finished the studies and whether you enjoyed it.
ETA: we have however, as you may have heard, been suffering from a drought. A drought of graphs that is.Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

Ina typical debate forum anecdotal means proof....houseprices were going down....my parents dropped 80 k off their house price in total, before securing an offer, then the chain collapsed and they took an offer of 20k more, so hp must be gping up again

I am tryin to get an idea of what the Wreck we live in is worth atm, so i will have two properties on which to base a judgement of the whole market. Hurrah.
How are you?0 -
