Readers digest are reliable if a bit slow sometimes. From what i can tell the TV is a odys brand which is a German company. I just had a look at their website and they do various multi-media LCD tv though its a brand i have not heard of.

Well what can be lost £30 and distence selling regs :)

Worth a punt if it means I can have TV while at work on a long night shift!
I started with nothing and I am proud to say I still have most of it left.

Does anyone know the actual model number?

I'm thinking of this for my grandma in hospital - she is bed bound and there is no tv in her ward. The description does not mention it coming with an aerial; I know the pic shows one, but that doesn't mean it's included necessarily.
I also wonder if it has sound - being a photo frame perhaps not and you would have to buy speakers? Or if it does have sound, I wonder if you can plug in ear phones.
And the final question would be: is it mains powered or battery?

If this does come with a decent aerial, and does have sound, it'd be a fantastic buy. More expensive items are just not practical in a hospital ward where nothing can be locked up and 'confused' patients easily pick anything up and walk off with it.

So if anyone can shed any light as to the model number and my queries above, I'd be grateful.

Asda had a similar item for £25

Although it was a while ago when I bought mine, still a good deal OP.

I've not heard anything since my order on Monday. I've just rung customer services to be told that the item is out of stock and they don't think they'll be getting any more and that all they can offer me is a refund. I said that they shouldn't have take any money if they didn't have the item, or until they despached the item.. But no joy.
