Hi all
I sent my paperwork to Cccs on Thursday by special delivery and I have sent all my letters to the various creditors today by 1st class post.
My questions are:
1) how do Cccs normally contact you to let you know it has been set up!
2) chances of it being set up in time for a payment on 1st June?
3) is it better to send extra money to Cccs or pay the companies direct. If Cccs, how do you make extra payments?
Any advice greatly appreciated!

Hi there,
As far as I remember, I got a text to say it had been set up, and then paperwork in the post. I guess there must have been some box to tick how I wanted to be informed.
Should be OK for June payment even if you don't set up the DD in time for June 1st, as CCCS keep your money until the 24th and don't pay your creditors until then.
I think you are supposed to send lump sums to CCCS so they can work out the fairest way to split the money.
