Abbey - Mortgages

Hi all,
I've recently applied for and been accepted for a mortgage with Abbey.
We get the keys of our new flat on the 28th of June. I wondered if anyone had any idea when our first mortgage payment is likely to come out?
I've asked our mortgage advisor but he just ignored me, and I'm trying to figure out my spreadsheet for our anticipitated bills (we're getting married around the same time, so it's an expensive time!).
Also, I've noticed in the small print of our offer letter from Abbey that it says we get £250 cash back from Abbey. Has anyone else received this offer? How and when do they pay out the £250?
Thanks
Laura

Unless you have the option of specifying a date. Highly lightly the 1st August.0

£250 cashback will go to the solicitor along with the advanced funds. Ask for a breakdown when you complete.
Payments will be advised by Abbey once you complete.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. It will almost certainly be whatever day in the month you selected (1-28) in August.

Doubt it is with Abbey - Should be saying Santander - mine started with Abbey in 2008 and name has changed to Santander. Whoever has set this up should be using up to date names in contracts of this kind.0

Maybe they've changed it back to Abbey because it reminds you of that slutty plump girl you used to bang when you were a teenager, before her family moved away, and not some giant bank whose business is inextricably linked with an economic zone about to go down the sh*itter.0

Thanks for that!
So that means we definitely won't have a payment come out on the day we complete? (Sorry, I realise that probably makes me seem a bit dense, I didn't expect it would come out then, but since it comes off of an earlier wage if that is the case I thought I'd better check!)
Thanks for all of the replies!
Xx
PS It does definitely still say Abbey, All of the illustrations for figures were an on-line link and it took us to site with Abbey as the header on it

Yes it likely the first payment will come off at the start of the month (if thats what you chose) first payment is normally higher to reflect the additional days interest tho0
