underpaid on my p60

I'm not sure if this is in the correct section, if not please move.
I finally got my P60 for the last financial tax year (5april to 2012)
I am in a job with fixed monthly salary and I am signed a contract to this effect, I should have had £19177.36 as my annual pay but the P60 is showing £19114.66, I know its only a shortchange of £62.70 over the year but I want to ask if this is normal, and what kind of approach I should take to payroll enquiries when I next see them in a few weeks, i'm a shift worker.
Any ideas greatly appreciated:eek:

How often do you get paid? If it is weekly, then it will be because there are not exactly 52 weeks in a year - 365/52 doesn't go... Therefore, you get slightly less than your contract each year, because every few years you get a whole additional weeks pay in a tax year, thereby making it all up...

Your P60 gross should be the same as your taxable gross on your last payslip of the tax year. Are you saying that the P60 and the taxable gross from your payslip are different, or that they agree but are £62.70 different to what was agreed as your yearly salary?
