Where can I find a nice remortgage ?

I am looking to re-mortgage my property but can not find any decent deals out there.

I am changing from a self cert mortgage in June where I am currently paying 6.21% (B of E 5.25%) and would like to go on a 3 year fixed or 3 year discounted
£113,000 over 20 years or 22 years
Joint income is 50K
Can anyone point me in the right direction please?
Many Thanks
JOE

On a joint income of £50k you should have no problems in getting £113k
What is the property value?
Plenty of deals that you could choose from as well - who is your current lender, what kind of deal have they offered you?I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it. I just got 5.14% with Halifax fixed 2 years0

apparently - according to (one of) my independent whole of market brokers, anyway...so well done for getting yours before it closed!
nationwide have one at a slightly higher rate though, fixed for 2 years.
advice as above - give your broker a call. as recommended in the remortgage guide, try london & country. it'e even a free phone number! have all your details to hand, they asked loads of questions to build up a complete picture of who you are and what you are after - then will do the legwork to find you a good deal. waiting to hear what they find for me, but the guy was very pleasant and professional...fingers crossed...gotta be better than what abbey are offering us to STAY with them!! (obviously not looking to retain customers)
good luck!Mortgage free as of 11/11/15 !

Further to my earlier post, one of my mortgage guys rang me today to say the Halifax offer mentioned above appears to be back on for remortgages...
I guess the moral is - always double check & if you see something you want, move fast to secure it. As it happens, we don't want that one anyway - have found a good one with Nationwide for slightly higher rate but overall will be better for our circumstances...
My head is mashed with all the sums and figures!!!Mortgage free as of 11/11/15 !
