I saw this but dont have a real idea on how good it really is. I will be checking it out though
But for anyone who is interested, u can download Ashampoo 2005 for free, requires registration to a computer mag website

Any ideas on how to register for the serial number, or do you need to install it first?

In the case of ashampoo, I have installed it but not played with it yet
On install, hit the "Get key" button, enter your email address, note I use one of my alias email addresses - free webone like operamail.com
then that sends u an email, which u open and click on a link, then hit send again and u have your registration number
