That will CERTAINLY help get things moving - just need it in writing first before I rebudget our finances

    You're doing brilliantly.
I love your burger recipe and have copied and pasted it to my list of recipe ideas - thank you for sharing it.
I think when we start to get really into this money saving and debt repayment we spend our time and energy on that instead of spending.
I'm looking through my stuff for things to sell and what a load of crap I have accumulated!
Good luck with this, I'll subscribe to follow how you're getting on.

    Thanks guys :)

By looking through our finances and planning properly, it looks like I should be able to pay off at least £150 a week - some weeks more when I work that bit harder :)

This suddenly looks possible all of a sudden :D

    Woohoo!!!!

Just got the post in and the OH has been awarded a £380 tax rebate....

As discussed, all of that is going onto the debts once it has come through as well!!!

I set myself a target of £5000 for this year, looks like I may smash that :D

    Hmmm - 31 weeks left in 2012

Low estimate on bill repayment - £150
    Therefore - 31x£150 = £4650

    Paid off already - £287.06

    Debt remaining for 2012 = £4712.94

    Minus £150 a week plan (£4650) = £62.94

    Minus Tax Rebate (£380) = -£317.06

Total repaid in 2012 on minimum repayment plan = £5317.06

Total Debt remaining as of 1st January 2013 = £7976.88

By rights, I should be debt free by the end of 2013 easily!!! :T:T:T:T:T

And remember, things like electric and gas should be cheaper in the summer months so may even get a bit of saving there - I'd aim for June 2013 as your DFD... :)

I'll stick with the end of 2013 for the minute but keep in the back of my mind it could be a LOT sooner....

Quite exciting I have to admit :D
