Credit Consumer Finance
Hello All
I have just got a credit report done due to the fact i applied for a loan with my bank and they said ' i met their criteria but they could not approve me due to my credit score'.
Upon getting my report i see the problem
, it comes in the form of a company called 'credit consumer finance ltd.' saying i took out a loan with them on 30/09/2006 and that the last payment was made in July 2008. I cant for the life of me remember who this is and what it was for but i do know i got a car loan from car craft which has been settled and the first payment for this was the same time as when this loan started. I have not had any communication from this company and it says on my credit report i owe them £974 and it is a major problem. Should i leave this be or try to contact the company, if when contacting the company how should i play it? make it as a complaint or what.
Any guidance on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

if you dont have any debt with them ask them why they are putting adverse information on your credit files0
