Need a bit of advice about wonga

I just wondered if someone can give me a bit of advice.
I'm a student and since last year, I've stupidly been taking out loans from wonga. Been living on credits since then. I really want to break out of this cycle so last night, I emailed them (I heard somewhere you should never call creditors?) and asked if instead of paying the full installment (£350 pounds I owe incase you're wondering), I pay £50 each month on the 20th until it's finally paid of. I emailed them yesterday and haven't heard anything back. I just wondered, should I;
A) call them and ask to see what they say?
email them again?
But if i was to email them, what should I say? I heard something about the credit act and how they can't force you to pay more than you can actually afford, so should I threaten them with this? Any advice is welcome, and yes, you can slap me on the wrist for being silly lol

can you not borrow the money from close family to get rid of these leeches?or sell some stuff?0

Call them, I know that sounds daunting, they don't reply to emails. But they are fine on the phone, explain your circumstances have changed and you are having problems repaying. Offer an amount you can pay monthly.0

I will call them and see what happens. I will let you know how it goes0

Just a lil update; they gave me an agreement plan. Everything has been set up now. They even lowered the asking price for me.0

Hi there
I was gonna say I set up a repayment plan with them with minimal fuss.
I was all ready to pay this month's instalment when they only took £6 out of my account. When I logged in my repayment plan had disappeared, and it was showing as I could take out a new loan again? I e-mailed them to ask where my repayment plan that was displayed online and also my repayments that I had already made have gone, only to be told that I had no outstanding amount? (I owe £400)
Maybe it was silly of me, but I asked again for them to check as I don't want it coming to bite me on the bum later in the year/or in life!
If I owe I owe. I've just got a job after 8 months unemployed, so I'm climbing back and will be a more active forumer in the next few weeks, especially in the Debt free Wannabe section.0
