I'm off travelling the big wide world in August and have been on the lookout for a bargain like this! Just a bit dubious as to whether a 'cheap' rucksack will serve me well enough though. Any thoughts?

  • I purchased a tent (by ULTRAFIT). 6 man family tent for £51

I then had to buy 4 packs of the elastic rope to rethread the poles as the original ropes were frayed and two snapped whilst trying to put the flippin thing up. that cost £16.

Then I bought a repair kit because I noticed a rip in the roof above one of the bedooms. Not massive, but another disappointing find. That cost £9.99

So in total an extra £26. Whilst I am extremely unhappy at all this, I couldn't be bothered to send it back (at my expense) and I suppose I am fairly lucky to now have a usable tent of that size for £77.

Just a cautionary tale to check your items thoroughly before you jet off to the congo or wherever!

I bought something from this company on QXL auctions a couple of years ago - delivery and customer service were both very poor. I wouldn't recommend them.

i have one of the bags, they are very good and durable for the price, recommended :)
  • Thanks for that..... Rucksack delivered yesterday - looks to be in good condition and fit for purpose - only criticism is that that the waist belt won't tighten enough for me - waife-like stick insect that I am (not).... these wouldn't happen to be American spec would they - Know what I'm saying !!!! ;)
