Going back to the bankrupcy stuff.....
Surely if you went bankrupt and then a year later bought a property that would be incorrect? Surely if you go backrupt this is a last resort? And if you were in the position a year later to buy a property then you could not have been in that bad a place in the first place.
I had 81k in debt..... negative equity and took out a loan to try adn help myself but ended up in selling and paying the debt from that and my own debt on my own by moving back in with my Mum. It has taken me years. I bought in 2003 when I was 18 sold in 2006 and its now 2012 and in the last 6 months I have been debt free. Surely if it is that easy to get a mortgage after bankrupcy I shouldn't have caused myself so much distress and financial damage and gone blimming bankrupt!
Of course bankrupcy stays with you; when you apply for a mortgage at some point you are asked if you have EVER been made bankrupt? Ever means in your life surely not crossed off after 6 years and if you didn't declare it surely that would be fraud?!3 Children - 2004 :heart2: 2014 :heart2: 2017 :heart2:

I'd recommend starting a new thread and not piggybacking off of this one. You'll get a better response.Littleacorn wrote: »Immediately after bankruptcy can I get a 50%,ltv mortgage from a lender combined with the goverments Newbuy scheme.
