Will I lose my job?

Hi
I am up to my eyeballs in debt and I can't cope much longer.
I don't see that I am going to get out without getting a payment plan in place.
My fear is that I work in a bank and I am scared that I will lose my job.
What do you all think?

Depends on what your contract of employment says. You might and you might not.Hi

What do you all think?:footie:
Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.

Heya,
I used to work for NW and I understand your concerns. They may well pick up on your financial difficulties, however given that you have shown you want to pay and as long as your work stays good then I don't think there will be a problem. They tend to only really be concerned if you're showing no willingness to pay off your debts, or if you're continuing to live beyond your means (an indicator of fraud). So you may be called in to speak to your manager, but I doubt you would lose your job. Are you unionised? Your rep should be able to help.0 -
Thank you, I think that I will give the union a call and see where I stand, maybe even HR.

Thank you,
Make sure you speak to the union rather than HR - you need to remember that HR work for your employer, while your union works for you.:A If saving money is wrong, I don't want to be right. William Shatner
