  • Glad you had a good day. Hope the snow is the melting and not the stopping type!
    Trying to shift that debt!
  • Evening all. Another day done :D. I am going to do 12 in a row  but I am so desperate to get rid of this debt that I will push myself hard. I can chill in the evenings. Well except for cooking, cleaning, washing, ironing blah blah blah. Going to go for it though as it could stop any time and I want to take advantage of it.

Went into town today as I had 2 pairs shoes to go to cobblers. I got one pair fixed but I am actually going to complain to the company about the other pair as I have only worn them once and one button is broken and a flap is hanging off. I took them back to a local branch and they refused to change them for me so I will take it further. So I spent £5 on heels for shoes. Spent £3.20 on a manky baked potato with beans. You would think that with the current climate that retailers would ensure that their food was perfect but hey ho I just won't go back. Then bought a birthday card, some stamps and £6 on fruit. Spent £20  and feel as if I got nothing for it .

DD is trying so so hard to pay for her holiday and is stressing about a night out she has on Friday night. Poor soul was adding up how much train, taxi, drinks etc would cost and I felt so sorry for her I gave her £20. She really is trying very hard and she just has an apprentice's wage. Wee soul. She's a good girl and deserves a wee hand.

Nothing else to report and no time for catching up as must knit knit knit

    Trying to shift that debt!
  • 12 days in a row!! Good on you for wanting to sort the debt out, dont exhaust yourself though :)

Your DD does sound like a lovely girl and after all her help with the decorating I dont blame you giving her a helping hand

    xx
  • She is an amazing girl. I am very lucky. She had a half day from work today and came home and painted my hall. Just first coat but it looks fab :D. I've gone quite a mocha colour and against the white it is really nice. I am getting a new carpet too so I will like it lots. May have to put my telly in the hall as it will be so pretty. I'll post a wee pic when it's done.

Lost another 5lb tonight so that's 10.5 in 2 weeks. This means I have lost everything I put on over Christmas and an additional 1.5 so I am ecstatic. Hopefully I will keep on the straight and narrow and get rid of this once and for all. I'd love to be feeling good for the summer. I'm not trying to be a perfect size 10 but if I could wear shorts and vests and not feel like nelly the elephant then I would be delighted.

I hope everyone is well. I only spent £6.50 today on a chippy tea for the kids. Not for me of course :A I had pasta and a mahoosive baked potato.

  • :j:j:j:jto my weight loss. Princess I am well jel :rotfl:There is not one piece of chocolate in my house . SBO you just go with the flow just now. I thought you were a skinny anyway ;).

No spend today, first this week but I was in work for 10 hours other than a half hour walk at lunchtime. I didn't take my purse so no temptation at all. Pretty much skint until next week anyway. Then pretty much skint regardless of getting paid :rotfl:. In fact pretty much skint forever ;). Hey ho.

I am shattered tonight but a wee early night will sort me out. Hope you are all well xx
