Hi guys,

We got married on 7th April. Haven't got the official pics back yet so here's a few from guests.

A few things i will mention...

First Look - Best idea ever! My nerves totally vanished which meant when it came to walking down the aisle i was excited and not nervous! We met an hour before the ceremony, had loads of pics taken then raced each other to the venue. I will come back and post a pic when i get them.

Candy buffet - Everyone commented on it and there was literally one sweet left when we left.

Gift packs for kids - Brilliant idea. Kids were quiet all the way through the speeches and got some brilliant pictures. We went a bit overboard on what we put into them.

Disposable cameras - Pointless. We got a few good ones but the majority were pants. People forgot to use a flash and the room we were in was extremely bright.

Guest Book - waste of time - 4 out of 9 tables seen it and that's it.

Facebook - Do yourselves a favour and deactivate your accounts before the wedding - i had pictures on facebook before i was married - raging

Friends and Family - Your wedding will show you who your real friends are and who your good family members are. Don't fret, regardless of how much planning you've done someone somewhere will let you down.

I've removed most of the pics - sorry if you missed them

Other things i wish i'd known:
To make a train lie right, just walk.
Bones in your dress do give way - a bra is a must.
You will get fed up in your dress - have a spare just in case.
Eat as much cake as poss before you go away on honeymoon (it does freeze tho)
The cheapest present gets the most praise.
Your bridesmaids will be bored, will be cold and will annoy you.

Happy planning people :D

Debenhams - I waited till they went in one of the sales and got them for £60 each, i added the panels under the boobs which was a shawl folded in 5 places and stitched into place :D

Gorgeous pics Jenna! And thanks so much for the tips. Do you mind me asking, what did you put in the kids' gift packs? I'm doing these as well and am starting to worry I don't have enough in them!
