UK interest rates held at 0.5%

The Bank of England has continued to hold UK interest rates at a record low of 0.5% and is not extending its quantitative easing programme (QE).

According to the BBC they've held rates despite 'persistent inflation'.

indeed. Rates are pretty much fixed now as absolute mayhem will erupt if it goes up as this rate is now considered 'normal'.0
