UK interest rates held at 0.5%

The Bank of England has continued to hold UK interest rates at a record low of 0.5% and is not extending its quantitative easing programme (QE).

According to the BBC they've held rates despite 'persistent inflation'.

    indeed. Rates are pretty much fixed now as absolute mayhem will erupt if it goes up as this rate is now considered 'normal'.

    can you tell me what the weather is doing in East London tomorrow? And is there any more news on Van Persie and Juventus? And an update on Leveson would be good too. Cheers.

    Ladder safety.
    Please stay safe on ladders remember the A to Z of ladder safety (a fall from rung A is better than a fall from rung Z). If you do slip, do not attempt to headbutt the ground to arrest your fall.
