I don't have any specific advice about Cineworld interviews but as you haven't had any responses yet I thought post something.
When I was younger I went to a few group interviews. I remember going to ones for Blockbuster Video, WHSmith, and a few other companies like call centres. The main thing is to be confident but not load and obnoxious, join in and make sure you contribute to any decisions made. Be noticed for good reasons. Don't be too self concious as sometimes they make you do team excercises or ask you daft questions like 'if you were a disney character which would you be and why?'.
Try to have an inner belief that you are a great candidate who could really do the job. I believe that it will shine through. They want to see which candidates have the ability to talk to customers, smile and are pleasant to work with, have some initiative, can deal with different situations that could occur and have potential.
They may just get you all to chat about yourselves, or there could be some physical challenge to solve. You might all have to discuss how you would respond in certain situations and maybe even role play them. I remember once having to discuss which order we would rescue fictional characters and try to get everyone to agree, so it involved being heard and negotiating with others.
Good luckDon't listen to me, I'm no expert!0
