Well. I have nearly paid off the Allders card and should do in full by the end of the month.

Cabot wrote to me offering to give me a discount of £1911.43 if I double the payment to them to £10 and pay by DD. I looked carefully at this and decided it was a reasonable idea. So I have done this. At last the scary figures are coming down.

Well, I just made my last payment to Alders, so have met my first target with days to spare.
Target 2 is to clear my overdraft. I set a date of the end of the year but will be aiming for sooner.
My fiancee has officially moved in, having rented his flat to a cousin. So council tax goes up but other bills will be shared. :D
A revised SOA will follow as soon as possible, but I am currently getting organised for knee surgery next week. Although i will be in and out in a day, I will be fairly immobile for two weeks.

    Hi Astroelle

Just wanted to say thanks for the above. I've just rung Cabot - if I can increase my monthly payment to £67 they will knock 10% off my debt.
Can't do it just yet but once 2 x credit cards are paid (hopefully by end of October) then I can consider it again.
    Will definately call them back

Thanks again - this was really helpful and could reduce my dfd drastically

    Take care hun x
