Redundancy & Mortgage repayment charges

Hello,

Newbie here - wonder if anyone has any advice. My husband has been made redundant today unfortunately.

We are looking into repaying our mortgage which is due to run out next year anyway.

We have not gone down the route of PPI as the mortgage is nearly finished anyway but need to know if we would be charged penalties for early repayment. At the end of June, we will owe less than 1 years payment. Would it be worth repaying or would it be easier to let the mortgage run??

Many thanks in anticipation of your help!

Kind Regards

Michele

First question. Is what interest rate are you paying?

Second. Is your mortgage tied in to a particular product at the moment?
