can i have a months break re cc payment?

I am moving into a cheaper house share at the begining of June (great in the long run!) however as I need to pay a deposit and rent up front at the begining, it is leaving me with not enough to pay the minimum payments on my credit cards. Can I phone the banks to ask them for a 'months break' i suppose? Will I still be charged the interest?

Thanks for any help :)

You can ask, it will depend on your bank. There is a risk they will default you regardless - is there no other way you can find the balance?

You can ring them up and ask for anything you like, whether they will agree to this is another matter. I'd rate your chances as slim unless you are on a DMP.
