2nd lightbulb moment?

Ok so I joined in January this year. I have been on a mission and we have paid off alot of our debt already, we'll be near enough debt free by Christmas.
I have sorted out finances to insure that all bills and debt is being paid on time each month (first time ever!), so that's going really well.

Now onto my 2nd LB moment. I already meal plan, and have cut food budget down by a lot (£70 every 2 weeks for 2 adults and 2 children), so Im happy with that. BUT I have around £250 going 'missing' every month. Where to? Ive kept all our old receipts from the past month and surly enough its being frittered away on rubbish. So I have set up a standing order to a savings account of £70 every week. And another which Im putting in £290 a month.

SO while i havent yet fully hit our target I set in January, Im on my way. Im not going to be hard on myself to much as we've sorted our bills/debts and I have even started to take up driving lessons. So i feel we're well on our way. So phase 2 is now save save save. That way I can make our money last longer and have a back up for emergencies.

I'm confused! You say you have around £250 going missing but have now set up 2 savings accounts totalling £360 is that right?

Yes, sorry. I have cut corners elsewhere also so I can put more money into the savings, also my husband has too so we can really budget our everyday spending a bit more. I want to get used to spending the minimum so I can see it paying off by watching the savings go up.
