going to my own bank for advice?
Hi I just wondered if someone could advise me..
Due to having to move for a new job i'm wanted to consolidate my finances. They are in a bit of a mess ie, i have a cahoot loan and the apr is 14.9%.. so this would be a good thing to do this i think.
It all adds up to around 12,000.
I applied for a few too many loans a while back and they are showing as red on my annualcreditreport so i'm abit scared to apply again. (didn't realise it affects your scoring by applying)
I really really could do with sorting this before I move as i know i'll end up in trouble if I don't. The thing is when you phone a call centre they are just putting details into a computer they don't know any of my circumstances so i was wondered if someone at my own bank (halifax) or any others would be able to help me?
Would i be wasting my time and might aswell just phone northern rock?
I know the advice would be wait a few more months and check my credit report again, but in this case I can't as i'm moving this month and going to really really struggle otherwise.
any advice would be much appreciated.
Alison.
