All the shelf edge labels are between £2.49 and £4.99, but take them to the till as they scan through at 99p. As ususal, the member of staffs' eyebrows nearly left her face completely when she scanned them through, so I don't think there'll be too many left once the staff find out. :rolleyes:

Hi Guys,

Just to let you know that I reserved a Cars Backpack set online on Saturday & went into the Leeds city centre store on Sunday to collect it. They told me that they couldn't find it anywhere and they were aware of this before i had actually come in. The SA apologised and explained that someone should have called me to let me know. I was quite annoyed that I'd trawled all the way into town when they really should have called me to let me know so I asked if I could speak to the manager. She came out to speak to me, didn't bother apologising, said she would get to the root of the problem but wouldn't tell me who the actual person person responsible was... because it violated HUMAN RIGHTS for her to tell me! How ridiculous! She was very very patronising and very very rude
I was so angry with her I got straight on the phone to CS & made a complaint against her. The lovely lady on the other end told me that the manager was entirely in the wrong - company procedure is to check the item is in stock within one hour of the online reservation and phone the customer if it is not.
But... good luck to you if you manage to find a branch that does actually have one!

When I went to collect my goods, they had not been selected, much less acknowledged. As a result, the goods were still out on the shelves having not been picked, which means that anyone else could go in, buy your 'reserved items' and then you get there to find they have no stock left. Very shabby. In fact, when I took my print out up to the counter, I then watched as the member of staff went over to the printer and went through a batch of what looked like at least half a ream of orders to locate mine, and then sent someone else off to try to find them! In the mean time, I wandered around the store, which is how and why I found all the other bargains that I didn't initially see on the website.

If you have the time, have a look around instore, especially in the bottom trays of display units and in baskets usually at floor level. Of course this won't be the same for all stores, but have a try. Suffice to say, if you do want to bag one of these and its showing as reserved, I'd still get down there ASAP, for the reasons given above. The good thing is, they are all still priced up on the shelves as full price, so maybe other non MSE's won't know they're a bargain and snap them up first.

I've bought a selection of things from each range, ie Bob The Builder, Disney Princess and Cars and then put them together to 'bulk out' the present for each gift, where necessary/appropriate. Yesterday, it came in particularly handy as I gave the Cars bag and stationery to my friends little boy as a late birthday present, and it doubled nicely as a treat as he got sent home with a sore throat. So everyone was happy. :beer: (I bought one of the Cars bag and stationary sets for myself...:o LOL)

Found a pile of the Disney Pixar Cars 34 Piece Art Set in PC World, Castle Marina, Nottingham.

They are not currently priced up and the barcode does not scan so make sure you have the SKU (305709).

Check the set before purchase too as there were some with only 33 pieces!
