Help... Ideas needed for a Fathers Day craft gift....

I help run a Beaver Colony ( age 6 to 8 years ) and, I'm desperately in need of ideas for the Beavers to make a Fathers Day craft gift.
I don't want a card as I'm sure this is likely to be made at school.
Per head my maximum spend can't be anymore than £ 1.50 and, the task really has to take no more than 20 minutes.
Any ideas will be gratefully received.
Apologies if I've put this on the wrong board.

I'm also a Beaver Leader and have struggled in the past with Father's Day gifts, I have found a few things that have been successful though.
Pasta picture frame - take individual photos of the children at your meetings and get them printed in advance or ask them to bring one from home of a certain size on the night (a slightly more risky option). Make a back and frame from cereal boxes - these can be done in advance to save time and make sure they're right. Glue pasta shapes onto cardboard to make a pattern, spray gold or silver and then glue the lot together with the photo mounted in it.
Hama bead coasters - just make sure they make the pattern back to front so it comes out the right way when it's ironed. Discount stores and Ikea are good places to find the peg boards priced reaonably.
Bookmark - get them to decorate a strip of cardboard, make a hole at the bottom with a holepunch and laminate. Thread some wool through the hole with a needle to create a tassel.
Decoupage pen pot - using either an empty tin can or a purpose bought cheap tub, cover in small pictures cut out of wrapping paper and use pva as a varnish to seal everything. If you use a tin can, you need to bash down to raw edge and get some strong plastic tape (electrical tape, duck tape etc.) to cover the top edge for safety reasons.
Cake and jam truffles. Whether or not this is suitable depends on which day you meet, as they really need eating within a day or two. Crumble sponge cake and mix with jam to form a soft dough like texture. Roll into small balls and roll in drinking chocolate, icing sugar or chocolate vermicelli. Place into petit four cases, bag up and tie with curling ribbon.
Hope some of these are helpful to you.

Hi Moira,
Thanks for replying. There's some lovely ideas there and, very MSE too which is great.
Torn between the frame and bookmark tho maybe could do both at a push.
I totally agree that coming up with something new for Dads is often very difficult.
Thanks again and also for the instructions !
Cheers, Karen. :TJuly £10 a day challenge £ 20.05 / £ 1550 -
I took pictures of my boys holding the letters'D', 'A' and 'D' and put them in a 3 picture frame - maybe you could adapt this idea?

What about a keyring? or a drinks coaster. if you have a look on www.craftycrocodiles.co.uk they have lots of idea's and supplies. The blank keyrings are only about 20p each and the same for the blank coasters which they could paint and decorate with dad on etc
