care home fees

in Reclaim mortgage fees, council tax, etc
does anyone know about reclaiming care home fees, as i have been told they have to reclaimed by sept 2012, or are the adverts misleading.

    Where was this advertisement then. I havent heard anything.

    Can you say what the circumstances are in your case.

    Nothing to stop you asking, if they want money up front, run for the hills,

    Very likely to want money up front to say they will try, they will try, probably fail, they will have held up their part of the bargain. They have your up front fee and they will be laughing all the way to the bank, only my take on it but yo havent said your circumstances.
    If the council have made an error there is nothing to stop you doing this yourself.

    This relates to people with dementia who had to go into care and in some cases the NHS should have paid for the care but didn't.
    If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales
