Nationwide - Free legal fees

Nationwide are currently offering a flexclusive tracker mortgage where they are offering free standard legal fees when using one of their licenced conveyancers. Also a free standard valuation on your property.

I'm sure there are people out there that have used this offer so i was wondering if you could provide some feed back. We're there any extras you needed to add on? Is it really worth it or are you better off going down the noraml route?

Free Free Free, Happy Days are here again. Ok here goes, very rarely will i recommend any of my clients basically due to the following reasons, the lenders pay the conveyancers and absolute pittance, therefore your file will constantly be on the bottom of the pile, most lenders offer either free legals or a small amount of cashback that is designed to go towards the legal costs of the remortgage/mortgage. If you choose this route and the service is shoddy dont bother complaining as it will be your fault for opting for this in the first place. There is no such thing as Free. Beware

Free legals on a remortgage - fine.
Free legals on a purchase - not fine.
