sorry can u explain more please
If you have 3 items for £4 and 3 items for £6 forexample..make sure you add all the £4 together or one after another and then the £6 together or one after another otherwise instead of paying for 2 x £4 plus one free and 2 x £6 plus one free you will get x x £4 free.0 -

Thanks, that's what I meant. A lot of sites take off the cheapest items regardless of what goes in first or the order you add it in. Tesco site appears to work in batches of threes rather than calculating the cheapest at the end, so every third item is free. Adding items in batches of three of similar prices maximises the reduction.0 -

The simple gift sets are good value, originally a fiver, now at 2.50 and you get 3 for a fiver. Absolute bargain, thanks OP.
Don't forget TCB-3%. Every little helps!0 -

Neither did I. I just thought last night "I wonder" and played around a bit. Separate orders wasn't an option for me as I needed to pay delivery. Our nearest collect store would cost more to get to in petrol than the cost of delivery.
I don't know if it is still the same but the last time I ordered from M and S their site worked the same way with every third item free.0 -
i just got 12 gift sets for £21.50!!
