Buy a 10 quid PAYG unlocked simple phone (Tesco has one) - Each
Put your sim in that.
Take both Iphones, sell them on one of the phone recylcer
You will get 200 quid each for each I phone 4!
Exactly what I meant. The OP is actually not to bad financially, they just need to account where it all goesThe Googlewhacker referance is to Dave Gorman and not to my opinion of the search engine!

I suggest that deciding what happens with these phones will really show what the OP wants to do.
If they are serious about getting out this mess then they will take the hit of having basic phones and gain the money for selling them
If they decide they love their Iphones too much then I suspect they have not yet had their LBM and it will be somewhere down the line when they realise that they are in a pickle:(0 -
If you work in a supermarket then don't do weekly shops. Buy daily from the reduced to clear section will save you a fortune.
Make sure you use everything up, do not throw anything out. Tomatoes in the fridge going soft, puree them, freeze in an icecube tray and you have your own bolognese sauce. Do that for any veggies etc and you have your own veg stock cubes. So many more ways to cut back on your shopping
How long have you had the phone contracts? because even Vodaphone will let you reduce by £5 after 9months and £5 each month thereafter until you hit the lowest they will go to.
You are lucky the car is not costing you anything in maintenance but it will do once warranties etc are over. I can only suggest you start to factor them into your spending sheets now and get used to paying something towards them or you will be in trouble when you have no choice. Move the monthly money into a savings account along with money for Christmas etc, then it is there when you need it.
Agree with another poster, I don't think you have hit your lightbulb moment fully yet. I hope you don't have it when you have lovely iphones that wont work because you have been cut off0 -
i've been using soapnut shells for washing clothes and have saved myself a small fortune on washing powder. just google indian soap nut shells. They are not great for whites but more than alright for coloured clothes etc. I just keep a small box of powder for the small number of whites i have to wash - but mainly use the shells - you can even use them in your dishwasher although i havent tried that yet. A big bag of the shells costs about £10 and i'm not even half way thru it yet! moggy - you may be able to get a free sample online to try them before you invest in the larger bag (that's what i did)0
