Current Options???

For the last 2 years I was working but only on min wage. I have now secured a much better job but need to clear existing debts. My bank, who I have been with for 6 years does not want to know. I have used payday loans and these have been repayed on time. My bank can see my wages coming in every month and my loans being fulfilled although they still will not assist.

Does anybody have a similar experience and advise on the best course of action. Ideally a £2.5k loan over 6 months. The APR on payday loans mean that I have been paying 3 times the amount back each month that a typical bank loan would cost!!

Could well be the fact you have used PDL's which have caused the bank to not want to know.

It's seems not only PDLs cost a high amount to borrow they also have a serious negative mark on your credit files.

Think it shows the bank or lenders you cant budget accordingly, i guess it has more of an affect if you use PDL's alot as opposed to only in a desperate desperate emergency.

If you can save 2.5k in just 6 months, do that. Much better than being fleeced on a loan
