Vodafone coverage in Northern Ireland

Options
Anyone have any experience with Vodafone coverage (both calls and 3G)?

Looking at taking out a contract and was wondering if anyone else was on Vodafone around by Newtownbreda/Four Winds direction? Does Vodafone generally have good coverage in NI?

I recently went onto Voda thanks to them doing 12 month contracts but have to say that the coverage has so far not been so great. Down towards ards I was getting calls but little in the way of 3g, likewise in holywood. Over malone direction i was struggling to get any signal. Ormeau i do seem to get pretty good on all counts but 3g is a bit variable when inside.

I suspect I will survive since I am keeping to the greater belfast area but were i beyond it, i reckon i would quickly be annoyed.
    Always overestimating...

Been with them for near on 10 years (often along side Orange, O2 etc... with work phones) & I'd say they easily have the best coverage, providing you don't live in Donaghadee ... which if you do, then mobile coverage is the least of your problems lol

I work on the MILLTOWN Rd and the only networks that have poor coverage is Orange & 3....

I've been with Vodafone on & off for about 15 years and bar some dodgy reception issues 10 odd years ago in Newcastle I've not had any problems. My dad used to be on O2 and I remember times when he had to stand right at the front door to get reception (Greater Belfast) and I had an Orange company phone which had worse signal problems than Vodafone.
