Bach Rescue remedies

Anyone had experience with these?

I suffer with anxiety, get tense and lack confidence at the moment so need a bit of help.

I always have the rescue remedy when I am flying. Some years ago a friend went with me, turns out she always grabs her partners arm at take off. She got me so wound up we both had rescue remedy! The rescue remedy is for 'emergency' treatment.

There are lots of different flower remedies, quite specific for certain conditions. A good health food shop is likely to have the list of which ones you need. It may be that rescue remedy (which is a mix of different flowers) is the one for you.

I'm also a great believer in rescue remedy for those stressful moments in life. My dentist also recommended it for prevention of tooth grinding. I'm not sure if it's suggestion or what but my feeling is that if it works you should go with it.

I have huge issues with anxiety. At one point I went into Boots and (this is when they used to have all the remedies separate and you could pick and choose which to get as well as the does-it-all yellow coloured version). I also bought the book, read about what I would need and put together the remedy I would need, I really wanted it to work.

It didn't help in the slightest. Sorry, I am a big fan of alternative therapies in general especially since a Homeopathy remedy cured my 4 medically diagnosed skin conditions 2 years ago (the ointment applied to the skin rather then the pills) but where the Bach's remedies come in, they don't do very much for me no matter how much I want them to, perhaps I am not using them correctly or the results are too subtle/my issues are too much, wish they would help me!

What I will say though is the sweets taste really nice, they also have chewing gum and a night spray which tastes nice but I don't think thats the point.

I am sure others have had good experiences as they have been selling for many years and as a brand have been selling the rescue remedy for a very long time, I had friends at school who would swear by the rescue remedy before exams to help calm them down so it must work for some people out there, maybe its a bit of an individual thing and its best to try it before making up your mind.

I would say read, read, read. In my past I have used Bach Flower Therapies successfully for many things and have always been happy with the outcome.

I love Rescue Remedy, I used it on my wedding day, I was so calm and un-stressed (which I sooo unlike me haha!) and after that, I use it when I fly as i'm a bit jittery on flights. Not anymore though!

I wouldn't use it all the time though, only in situations where i'd feel uneasy and stressed.

I've used Rescue Remedy in the past too and it did work for me. It isn't a cure all but takes the edge off the nerves.

I found similar effects from Camomile Tea which was considerably cheaper. The effects weren't as strong but I did feel calmer.

I failed 3 driving tests as a teenager as I would get so anxious and panicky that I would just fall to pieces. I used Rescue Remedy for the few hours leading up to the test and I was as cool as a cucumber! It helped me keep my head together and I passed!

I highly recommend it in exam type situations or any situations where you feel anxious.

I used it on my dog when there were fireworks going off and it made a huge difference. Much less stressed but still not happy. Much better than completely knocked out for days on meds off the vet with the side effects of these.

I also use Rescue Remedy. Not often but I find it helps me rid of nausea.
