Hi, had a loan with Welcome Finance for a long time. In 2010, being out of work, I contacted PayPlan, cancelled direct debits, changed bank accounts etc etc.
Every creditor has been fine with my payment plan except Welcome. I have made an offer of a monthly payment and asked for their bank details so that i can set up a standing order.
And i have asked, and asked and begged for their bank details. I almost thought i had got through to them a couple of weeks ago, but no joy, they have sent a direct debit mandate.
My question is, as they obviously don't understand i want their bank details for a standing order, should i just start sending them cash via recored delivery once a month or should i just keep trying for the bank details?

My wife had a similar problem. They will not disclose their bank details under any circumstances. If you send them the agreed payment every month by recorded delivery, you should be okay. We did the same, but instead of sending it, I went to the office everuy month and handed the cash over, got a receipt and left. No problem!0

Morning...
I have the bank details for setting a standing order up with these crooks. I would gladly give you the details if someone can clarify the rules for posting these details on this site.:)0 -

This is a strange story. If they don't want your money, don't give it to them.
More practically perhaps, ask them to send you a payment book, or paying in book. This must have bank details on it and you can have your bank do a Standing Order.
I think their silly staff have been brainwashed into sending DDs.0
