To cut a long story short, I have been left £40,000 and half a House. I was going to buy the other half (agreed) with the money left but now the DWP are investigating and look like they will be taking a big chunk of the money. I can have a Mortage and I'm 50 plus, but was wondering what would the Monthly payments be for £30,000.

    Thats impossible to answer, get the loan arranged and come back and tell us the Apr and length of loan, better still ask the lender.
