Hi,
Looking to get a £10,000 loan for a new car.
I'm thinking about applying for one with My Bank Yorkshire Bank.
Would the apr etc be the same outcome whether i Spoke directly to the bank or used there online application?
They offer a personal Loan http://www.ybonline.co.uk/personal/loans/personal-loan/
and a Car loan http://www.ybonline.co.uk/personal/loans/car-loan/
Is there any benifit and what is the difference?
Thank you.

I really can't see there is any difference between a personal loan & car loan. I suspect YB just create two pages to get the most hits from different internet search terms.
Objectively, there also would be no difference between applying for a loan on-line or in branch.
However, i would try to do it in branch. Dress smartly, be polite and generally make a good impression. In case any questions do arise during the application process , would be good to have the loan manager on your side.0 -

Dress smartly not buying that one mate, can't see the credit scoring system going through a dress code process, you either pass there credit score or you don't.0 -
Car loans will sometimes have extras attached like free breakdown cover. But not always!0
