Should i be concerned

Hi, On the 1st may i ordered a set of cake tins online and paid by paypal, I will say it was 4pm so i know they wont have gone out till next day.everything went fine i recieved an email saying click on this link to see how your order is doing. Well every time i click it comes up with the delivery blank. Ive emailed the company for a estimate of delivery and phoned them but no one ever picks up. Now i thought by today (sat) they should have been here as there delivery is meant to be 2-3 working days but getting worried that theres no answer to phone or replies to emails.
thanks

  • Where did you order from?

I wouldn't be overly concerned yet, I would start doing something at about 2 weeks. You have 45 days to put in a dispute via paypal so no need to worry about the money being lost just yet.

Have you tried calling them on the landline listed on their webpage? Theres also a mobile number you could try texting/calling.

I hope they do get back to you but if they dont i would do as above and open a paypal dispute. It may get their attention if nothing else :D

Well if they are a business there's always the DSR but you may end up liable for the cost of return. On the other hand, if they have failed to meet their stated delivery time (which it seems they have) I would give that as the reason and ask for re-imbursement for cost of return.

OP doesnt have the items to return them.

You can cancel, refuse to accept delivery (if it turns up) and they cant treat this as breach of contract.

So in short, yes you can cancel.

I meant when they do finally arrive, obviously. In my experience, refusing delivery at the door just leads to more hassle and longer to wait for your refund.
