Very expensive (the APR works out at 300%+), but can come in handy in a jam. Can be useful to cash one or two cheques now and then to avoid bank charges, but only if you know you will be able to pay em off the next month, otherwise they will end up costing you a fortune rolling them over.
The money shop charges £14 to hold a cheque of up to £100 for 30 days (the £14 is taken out of the £100).0 -
Only do it as a very last resort and only for an amount you KNOW that you really can afford to repay asap.0
