I used bought my car insurance from Churchill via Quidco (£25 cashback)
Started at Quidco and filled out the mandate and then clicked thru to Churchill where I opened previous quote and bought the insurance
Thing is when I opened my quote on churchill it popped up in a new window - after I paid the window closed and left me with original Churchill home page window
Now theres nothing mentioned in quidco account
Will I still get the discount?

When will the "Edit" and "Quote" button get fixed on the mobile web interface?

Sometimes you do and sometimes you ..
I think it depends on whose getting the money somewhere down the line ..
Still, nothing ventured ..0 -
you usually have to start a new quote after clicking the quidco link0

If you want to check if the transaction has been recorded on the quidco site, log back in, click my quidco, click quidcare support, click create a cashback claim and then from the drop down menu see if theres any mention of churchill.
If its listed then after 3 days enter a claim if it hasnt tracked by then.
If its not listed then you wont get any cashback.
I hope you cleared your cookies before purchasing otherwise the transaction could be attributed to some other site. eg confused or meerkat etc you might have visited and not to quidco.
As deanos says you do need to start a new quote and not accept a quote you have previously made.0 -

It has appear in my Quidco as tracked purchase even thou I did actually buy from a previous quote (i figured a new quote would just be priced jacked) - It says I cant claim it until it starts 10/5/12 thoughWhen will the "Edit" and "Quote" button get fixed on the mobile web interface?0 -

Hi, it is just the advice given by quidco that you should start a new quote.
I don't think it's definate that you won't get the cashback with a retreived quote but that's the advice given.
It will track either way but may eventually be declined.
I have compared new quotes with retreived quotes and they have always been the same for me although others will tell you otherwise.
If it has tracked then you don't need to claim, the transaction will eventually be confirmed and when quidco get paid you can then get the money.
If quidco don't get paid you won't get paid.
My fastest cashback payment was 28 days and my longest (Admiral ) took 11 months.0
