A huge THANK YOU to timmers

A couple of weeks ago, i was having major problems with my laptop, and had posted on the Techie Board regarding some of them.
Timmers sent me a PM after seeing that post, highlighting a Facebook competition he had found, that would sort out the problem i was asking about.
Single handedly, he rounded up enough people to sign up to this comp using my link, putting me in 4th place and so winning 1 of the 4 prizes available.
Ive thanked him continuously while he helped, and although he said it was because of the comps i post that help everyone, i still say watching tv and posting a comp, is nothing compared to all the extra effort he put in to get me into a winning position for this comp. If i didnt post the tv comps, someone else would/could - not many people go out of their way like he did to help someone win a competition.

So, now ive just received the winning email, i wanted to publicly thank him for all his help - and also to all those people who used my link and helped me get into the winning position. I dont normally post until i have the prize, but i wanted to make sure that timmers got the thanks he is due, he is an absolute star :T

Have seen timmers go out of his way for folk before and I would always consider a request from him - a rare jewel if anyone is:)

When the request concerned your good self - well, no brainer really:D

I tried to help out but as I had no clue what I was doing:eek:don't know if I did, just glad the objective was achieved.

I am always amazed at the way you keep on posting the comps you do - not only watching the programmes but lessening your own chances by posting the answers on here. Please don't under-value your contribution, you are priceless to these boards.and I only hope you win as much as you deserve.:)

Good to see a way to pay back people who go out of their way isn't it?
It wasn't much effort finding people willing to pitch in. The problem was the limited amount we could use more than anything. Ended up a close run thing.
