Getting there...

Hi guys
Haven't posted for a few weeks, have managed to pay £300 off my credit cards :Tbut not been able to save anything yet to repay my mum
(but she said she's not worried - just pay back when I can - so am concentrating on paying the credit cards off first).
Also have managed to close and cut up (the best bit!) two other credit cards - which gave me a very good buzz!
For some reason I just feel a bit down and that it is all getting on top of me but I know that I have got my budget in place and so long as I stick to it I will be fine. Perhaps I'm just having a bad spot and will come out the other side fine.
Anyway, here's to the long weekend!

Don't feel down, we're all in this together. Have you joined any of the challenges? I find these really keep me going and I check in on them every day even if I haven't got anything to report. How about the pay off all your debts by Xmas 2012 challenge? lots of people on there have dfd in 2013, it's just great to see everyone's debt going down. Or the extra payment a week? Even if it's a quid, it's still a quid!!
Have a good weekend, you're £300 closer to being free!:DMake £2020 in 2020 £178.81/£2020

Morning All....
Well am feeling far more positive today than I was last week. Long weekend definitely helped plus I got to see my parents which cheered me up.
Went £14 over budget on food shopping this week - why is washing powder so expensive!Have you joined any of the challenges?
Am definitely going to look at joining some of the challenges - I like the look of the groceries one.
I'm off to a focus group tonight for which I am being paid £70 for an hour and half of my time - couldn't really turn it down :T
Anyway here's to another week! :rotfl:0 -

I swap and change washing powder and buy when the offers are on. Last one I got was the DAZ 38 washes for £4.The Googlewhacker referance is to Dave Gorman and not to my opinion of the search engine!
