Hi,I am on IB at the moment due to having cancer 2 years ago, yesterday my boss from where i used to work phoned me and asked me if i wanted a job back there starting tommorrow:eek: .
I said yes ,because i really want to go back there and also i know everyone.
My problem is i am still not 100% fit.I got my IB50 last october and they sent me a letter explaining that i could carry on recieving IB till this october when my review comes up,i did not even need a medical.
I struggle with my breathing as well as other things, but i really do not want to miss this chance to go back.
The work is not easy and i will be on my feet all day,The hours are 7.30 -3.00 mon to fri,and because its at a private school its only term time only,i wonder what i shall do when its the holidays,i have counted it up and it works out at 36 weeks a year.
I think my main worry is the summer holidays, they have 2 months off then - would i be able to claim anything while i am off for this length of time?
Many thanks
Libby.
