First ever win and why I started comping...

I started comping a few weeks ago, never expecting to win anything. I began comping after my Mum was diagnosed with terminal cancer. I couldn't sleep and couldn't concentrate on anything and then came across this forum one day. I have found comping to be a distraction in the night when I am on my own and it helps me to get to sleep. I honestly did not think that I would ever win anything and just did it to help me get through this difficult time.

However, this morning there was a knock on my door from the postie. A signed for envelope which I assumed was probably something containing bad news. I was very surprised to open it and find £100 Arcadia vouchers from a TAB competition. It was a lovely surprise and I shall be treating my Mum to some new clothes as due to her cancer her old clothes no longer fit.

I would like to say a big thank you to everyone who posts comps on here and takes the time to share with us all. I have tried to track back and find out who posts the TAB answers but couldn't find it, but a massive thank you whoever you are

I'm sorry to hear about your mum. That's truly devastating but I'm glad you've found something to help you get through this awful time.

Hi Libra1977, Firstly Im so sorry to hear about your mum, and my thoughts are with you both.

It was so nice to read that you have won something, and that you are going to buy your mum something. I really hope you have more wins so that you can treat both you and your mum.

Only recent T-A-B comp for Arcadia was one of mine, although they do sometimes substitute prizes. See
