Friday 4th May - What small DFW things will you do today??!

Posts: 169 Forumite

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free.
Examples could be hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important!
Good Morning all, and happy Star Wars Day, and hurrah for Friday and the bank holiday. With any luck it might even stop raining.
Off to work in minute:
* Check banks
* Open second envelope of the budget, very excited for my £20 Friday payday!!
* Drink lots of water!
* Try and drive sensibly
* No lunch in the house, have to forage for something cheap and edible looking at work
* Off to OHs tonight for the weekend and he feeds me all weekend so thats quite MSE (bless him)
That's about my lot, busy day so not much else I could fit in.
Hope you all have a lovely day

Afternoon all,
Cheers sunshine
I've got a busy day ahead with prepping the house ready for visitors and getting tea underway in plenty of time. But I've been sidetracked by switching the computer on.....oops! My list for today:
- Check onepoll
- Check bank
- Post ebay items
- Update ebay
- Continue with the never ending laundry
- Pay £1 to the OD after DH hung the towels on the airer instead of using the tumble
- LSD - a trip to sainsburys this morning had 3 items on the shopping list (fruit, beef joint and gardener's world mag for the 2 for 1 card) and I didn't bother with the mag cos there weren't any participating gardens around us :T
- cloth nappies/wipes all day for DS
- cloth san pads for me (my 1st month using them and they're going brill so far!)
- superpoints clicks - no points for me for the last couple of days
Think that's it, apart from all the housework but that's not so MSE!
Have a happy friday all and enjoy your bank holidayDebt free in
