I found another LOL, at the bottom of the page related items a company selling the duracell rechargeable 2450mAh, 1 pack aka 4 batteries, £5.39, 16 pack, £23.20, 4pack of 4 would be £21.56

lidl has some rechargable batteries i think they where £2.99 for a pack of 4 AA or AAA, they where the noloss ones, aka come fully charged and only lose about 20% of there power over 1year of storage.

I find Panasonic Xtreme last 3 or 4 times longer than the basic Duracell AA, or AA plus. They are more like the Duracell Ultra.
John Lewis have them on special at the moment £2.95 for 12. So £5,90 for 24. There is £3.00 p&p. So £8.90 for 12 or £11.85 for 36. But imo would be well worth it and will well out last the Duracell.
