Temporary Work Finished - Holiday Pay?

I have been working for an agency for 8 months and my employment with them ended a couple of days ago. Am I entitled to any holiday pay that I have accrued from January this year? I know if I had been permanent I would be entitled to a couple of days but is it different being agency?
Thanks in advance, Simon

Yes. You accrue holiday pay from the first hour, even on agency. It works out at roughly 12.6% of your gross basic pay.0

Do you know when your holiday year started? If there is nothing to the contrary in your written particulars, it will be from the time you began your first assignment.
Did you get holiday pay for Christmas, New Year and Easter?0 -
My holiday year is January to December. Turns out that I am owed holiday pay, about 5 days! Good job I enquired or they would have probably "forgot". Thanks for your replies!0

Oh, maybe being a bit unfair there, is there any reason that you think they would have forgot, after all, they have given you employment for the last 8 months. Might be just me, I trust everyone till they actually do something to make me not trust them.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -

Did you work for just one client company or various clients? If just one client company and a directly employed worker would get more than the minimum statutory holiday entitlement, your accrual rate for holiday should have been slightly more than the 12.07%. (That applies wherever you may have worked for more than 12 weeks.)
The holiday accrues on standard hours. If any of your pay was for "overtime", that would attract no holiday.
Another thing - have you received a P45? If not, you are still on their books and you will need to actually ask for the holiday which will be paid.0 -
