settlement problem

Hi Everyone,
would love some advice please as I am now really worried and know that it is my own stupid fault. About 4years ago I had a breakdown due to a family member dying and had to give up work me and my husband had about 30,000 worth of debt and I was the main earner of our family.
for about 6 months instead of sorting out the problem we just got ourselves further in debt by paying our mortgage and council tax with our overdrafts and cards. we finally got on a debt managment plan with the cccs. It has been wonderful and since all the problems I have returned back to full time work and finally have our lives back.
in the darkest time I kept getting calls from Triton for my overdraft for natwest they refused to stop all charges and interest and were so mean to me that I was so scared that we would lose our house and my children would have no where to live. they offered me a partial settlement figure if I paid them £3000 pounds they would not chase me for the residual balance which I borrowed the money from my dad and paid them! I know stupid thing to do it left the balance of about £900 which was all the interest and charges and I did not understand all the debt jargon as I am starting to understand now.
Well about 6 months later I got a letter from them saying that my loan was up for a review and that I needed to contact them regarding the payments and on this letter was my overdraft with more added interest on i called them immediately and was assured that it was just because my loan was being paid and not to worry when I finished paying the loan it would all just be shut off. Again I fell for this I know I sound stupid but I had no idea at the time the whole system I trusted them to be truthful. This was all back in 2009 and 2010 and since then I have been overpaying my loan back.
They have just transferred my loan now to westcott and am saying I owe £1441.00 on the overdraft and my loan which is £3000. I have called westcott and told them the whole story regarding my overdraft account and informed them that I am happy to pay the loan which I am doing but I am not paying a penny towards the overdraft amount they are investigating this and have put that debt on hold for now. Just wondered if anything I can do in the meantime. I am feeling really worried again and it is making very ill and causing my panic attacks to resurface.
Sorry to go on and hope this makes sense but can anyone give me some advise as what to do .
Thank you
