Work Pension

In 2007 I worked for Yorkshire Bank for 6 months, I contributed to a pension scheme, when I left the company I received a statement saying I have contributed around £300 and I must provide them details for which this needs to be transferred too or else I would lose this money. I didnt have another pension set up at the time, as I was only 18/19. I didnt transfer this across so I lost this money. Are they legally allowed to do this? Is it possible for to reclaim this money back?

Contact the pension administrators and ask. Was it a final salary or money purchase scheme ? Was it contracted out of the state 2nd pension ? Did you actually pay these contributions or the employer on your behalf ?It only takes one tree to make a thousand matches, it only takes one match to burn a thousand trees. As well, the cars are all passing me, bright lights are flashing me.
